Your Role

As the Meeting Operations Specialist, Functional Subcommittee, you'll be working with some of the industry's brightest minds to assist in defining and shaping how all our Functional Areas (Administration, Corporate Strategy, Finance & Accounting, HR & Recruiting, IT/IS, Legal, Product Strategy, and Government Affairs) interacts with departments throughout the company. You'll be responsible for defining an operational mechanism, policies, and processes, as well as coordinating daily and weekly operational activities for the Functional Subcommittee. Additionally, you will document decisions and action items with clear owners and due dates, communicate expectations and track action items on a timely basis, as well as monitor progress. Basically, you'll manage all operational projects coming out of the Functional Subcommittee and track until closure, ensuring there is support at every stage of engagement and collaborating closely with all the Functional Areas and Functional Subcommittee members.

Basic Qualifications:

·         A Bachelors degree in business, management, engineering or related field

·         1+ years of experience in Project Management or operations in automotive, internet, tech, or IT

·         Proven knowledge and expertise, and passion for Project Management

·         Be familiar with project management process and at least one management tool such as Visio, MS Project, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Proven expertise with high-level administrative or meeting management support

·         A diverse skill set including note taking, organization, and interpersonal skills

·         Strong familiarity with Outlook (Calendar), PowerPoint, and Excel

·         Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English preferred

·         Passion for implementing technology to increase efficiency

·         A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision

·         Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies

·         A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
